Overview

Available with a pay monthly deal or as a SIM free device, the Samsung A56 5G is a stunning mid-range handset, packed full of premium features, and wrapped up in a stylish exterior. Offering an aluminium frame with subtle side buttons and an elegant vertical camera bump, the handset’s casing feels fresh and modern. A range of colourways including Pink, Olive, Graphite and Light Grey give the A56 5G a further touch of personality, gleaming behind a subtle glass back.

This fresh feel is emulated in the A56 5G’s huge screen. The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display helps games, apps and videos pop, while 1,200 nits brightness capability gives visuals remarkable clarity, even in sunny conditions.

Three impressive lenses comprise the triple camera array on the Samsung A56 5G, including an image-enhancing 50MP wide angle lens. Advanced camera and editing software turn even the most novice of snappers into professional photographers. Samsung cameraphones wow in low-light conditions, and the A56 5G is no exception. The integrated Nightography feature captures beautiful tones and colours in the darkest of skies, while the new-and-improved 12MP front camera lets you snap balanced, colourful images with perfectly clear detail. Videographers aren’t left out, either; filming in 4K makes your videos feel vivid and realistic, with 240fps Slow Motion available once you reach the editing suite.

The Octa-core processor is tried-and tested by Samsung, so prepare to be impressed by the smooth and fast performance of the A56 5G, supporting smooth gaming, streaming and scrolling. Awesome Intelligence helps the handset work harder still, with features like Circle to Search, Object Eraser and AI Select packing a serious punch at a mid-range price.

Rounding up this outstanding handset is a 5,000mAh battery which provides up to 29 hours of video playback, so you’ll never run out of juice. A battery this size rivals even some of the biggest flagship phones: Samsung has pulled out all the stops to make sure the A56 5G steams ahead in the mid-range market.
