Price increases.

Everything you need to know about contract price rises.

What is a fixed-price increase and how does it work?

We’re introducing an annual fixed-price increase of £1.50 each April, moving away from unpredictable inflation-linked rises. This change is designed to provide you with clearer, more transparent pricing, making it easier to compare options and make informed choices.

Does the fixed-price increase apply to me?

It applies if:

You purchased or upgraded to a 24 month phone contract plan on or after 15/01/2025.

It doesn’t apply if:

You are a SIM Only customer, or you purchased a 24 month phone contract plan before 14/01/2025.

If you purchased a 24 month phone plan before 15/01/2025, you might be affected by our CPI price increase.

Where can I see how the prices will change?

The fixed-price increase information will be displayed on the product page, the basket and is also available in your Contract Summary and Contract Information documents.

If you decide to change your monthly cost as part of a Plan Change, the £1.50 fixed-price increase will be applied on to your new plan cost, on your April bill each year. Your contract will remain the same.

No. A fixed-price increase will only apply if you upgrade or purchase a new iD Mobile phone plan on or after 15th January 2025.

We’d love for you to stay but yes, you can cancel your plan by giving us 30 days' notice. An early termination fee may apply if you cancel before your contract ends, so make sure to check your contract start date in the iD Mobile app (click on Plan > expand the contract details section).

Alternatively, text INFO DDMMYY (DDMMYY should be your date of birth, for example, 30th October 1999 would be 301099), to 85075 for an estimate for your final bill. You can also switch to another network provider, for details visit our switching page.

If you upgrade to another phone plan on or after 15th January 2025, it’ll fall under our fixed-price increase. This means your monthly price will increase by £1.50 from your April bill each year. For more information, visit our price increase page.

If you've recently changed your Direct Debit payment date, any future price increases will be applied to your new bill date.
