The fixed-price increase information will be displayed on the product page, the basket and is also available in your Contract Summary and Contract Information documents.
We will also send you a reminder SMS one month before your price increase is applied.

Our goal at iD Mobile is to provide the very best value and affordability when it comes to mobile. However, the cost to run and maintain a high-quality service increases each year, especially the cost of phones from the top manufacturers. So, to allow us to continue offering our award-winning value, we apply an annual fixed-price increase to plans that come bundled with a phone.
After careful review and consideration, we have taken the decision to increase this fixed annual price rise for all new monthly phone plans, from £1.50 to £1.80 each April. With the cost of phones becoming increasingly more expensive for us to purchase from manufacturers, this fixed annual price increase allows us to continue offering some of the most competitive and affordable monthly phone plans, where iD Mobile is often market leading on price.
If you change your plan, your fixed-price increase will stay the same.
The increase amount itself doesn’t change - only your base plan price does. Once you change your plan, we’ll apply your original fixed increase amount to your new plan price and recalculate your future costs. All updated future prices will be sent to you by email to confirm.
No. A fixed-price increase will only apply if you upgrade or purchase a new iD Mobile phone plan.
We always provide our customers with clear and relevant information about any price increases, so you can make an informed decision before committing to a contract.
While we’d love for you to stay with us, you can cancel your plan by giving us 30 days' notice. Please note: an early termination fee may apply if you cancel before your contract ends, so make sure to check your contract start date in the iD Mobile app (click on Plan > expand the contract details section).
Alternatively, text INFO DDMMYY (DDMMYY should be your date of birth, for example, 30th October 1999 would be 301099), to 85075 for an estimate for your final bill. You can also switch to another network provider, for details visit our switching page.
If you upgrade to another phone plan on or after 11th March 2026, it’ll fall under our fixed-price increase. This means your monthly price will increase by £1.80 from your April bill each year.
