Agreement & Purchasing Steps.

This Agreement & Purchasing steps apply exclusively to purchases made by consumers for personal use and do not cover business or commercial transactions. By ordering from the iD Mobile website, you agree to:

When you make a purchase on the iD Mobile website, you are guided through the online ordering process with easy-to-follow steps. Once you reach the checkout page and click the 'Place order' button, you confirm that you are submitting your order with iD Mobile.

Once you have placed an order, we'll send you an email detailing the products you have ordered. This email serves as an acknowledgement of your order but does not confirm its completion. If your order is accepted, you will receive an email confirming your order is complete and is ready for dispatch, along with your contract details (if applicable).

Acceptance Criteria.

All orders are subject to pass our acceptance criteria checks. We may decide not to accept your order if:

  • the product you ordered is out of stock;
  • we can't verify your age where the product is age-restricted;
  • we identify the transaction as being potentially fraudulent;
  • we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment;
  • we identify a pricing or product description error with the product you have ordered;
  • you do not meet the requirements set out in iD Mobile Terms & Conditions or
  • you are making an order from outside of the UK

If the product you ordered is unavailable, we'll notify you by email or phone. You can then choose to wait for the item to become available (if possible) or cancel your order.

If your order is accepted, you will receive an email from us confirming that your order is complete and is ready for dispatch, unless you request to cancel your order in accordance with our cancellation instructions below.

Contracts.

In addition to our acceptance criteria, all Pay Monthly orders will be subject to a credit check. Our confirmation of your order and completion of the contract with you will take place once your order is ready to dispatch, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with our cancellation instructions below. Our contract with you will be completed when:

  1. we dispatch the goods to you;
  2. we commence the services; or when we debit your credit or debit card, whichever is the earlier.

The sale contract is completed in the UK. We can reject any offer to purchase made by you at any time until we dispatch the goods or commence the service ordered.Any automated acknowledgements of your order that you may receive from us do not amount to our acceptance of your offer to purchase goods or services advertised on the website.

Product Information.

Each product purchased is sold subject to a product description that sets out additional specific terms related to that product. This will include information concerning estimated delivery times and any warranties. All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering information. Prices are subject to change so please check the website for up-to-date pricing information before you place an order.

Payment Information.

Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card. You confirm that the credit/debit card used for your order is your own. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We may share your personal information with third parties as are necessary to enable us to do such checks. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

We'll take all reasonable care to keep details of your order and payment secure. We're not liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data provided by you when ordering from the website, except if resulting from our negligence.

Delivery Information.

Phone orders & Accessories.

Any phone or accessory orders on iD Mobile will be delivered by DPD for free. Orders placed before 5pm Monday to Friday will be processed for delivery the next working day. Orders placed late on Friday, over the weekend, or on a Bank Holiday will be processed on the next working day and, where possible, delivered within two working days. To help prevent fraud, our DPD deliveries include a unique DPD PIN, which you will receive by email and/or SMS with your one-hour delivery slot. To accept the delivery, you will need to share this PIN with your delivery driver.

SIM only orders.

Your SIM will be delivered free of charge by Royal Mail 2nd Class which usually takes no more than 2-3 working days to arrive. Royal Mail will be in touch with you once the order is on its way.

eSIM orders.

If you choose an eSIM when selecting your SIM type, we'll email your eSIM QR code once your order is accepted.

Regional deliveries & deliveries overseas.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Aberdeenshire, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands may take longer to arrive. Please note: deliveries during holiday periods may also take longer to arrive.

Returns & Cancellations.

If you made a new purchase/upgraded via distance means (as defined in The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013) such as buying on idmobile.co.uk or over the phone, you may cancel your agreement with us at any time up to 30-calendar days from the date you receive your order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

SIM only returns.

If you bought a SIM from iD Mobile, there is no need to return the physical SIM card to us. To arrange a return of a SIM order, you need to:

  1. Contact our Customer Service team and notify us about your return request
  2. Once the iD Mobile team confirms that your agreement has been cancelled, you will need to safely dispose of the SIM card or delete the eSIM from your phone

Please note: you are responsible for any charges that apply up to the point your service is disconnected. This includes things like line rental, usage, and any extras you've added to your plan, such as add-ons. Any upfront payment towards the phone will be refunded, once the return is complete. If you do not return the product within 14 calendar days after notifying us of your intent to return, the Agreement will remain and you will continue to accrue charges incurred under Terms & Conditions.

Phone & accessories returns.

To arrange a return and cancel your agreement:

  1. Contact our Customer Service team and notify us about your return request.
  2. iD Mobile team will provide you with a Return Transaction Number and a shipping address for your return. Do not send your phone until we have confirmed your Return Transaction number and provided the correct returns address.

If you are unable to speak with our Customer Service team, you can request a Return Transaction Number by completing our Returns Request Form and posting it to the address shown at the top of the form. Do not send your phone or any other items to this address - it is for notifying us of your intention to cancel only.

Because postal delivery times can vary, we're unable to confirm when your form will reach us. For a faster response, we recommend contacting us via our Customer Service team, where our team can issue your Return Transaction Number directly. Once you have your number, we'll provide the correct shipping address for your return.

When you return your order, please make sure to include:

  • Proof of purchase, such as your order receipt or invoice
  • The item in its original condition, with the original packaging
  • All accessories and any additional components that came with the product
  • Any free gifts that were included with your purchase

Please note: you'll also be responsible for any charges that apply up to the point your service is disconnected. This includes things like line rental, usage, and any extras you've added to your plan, such as add-ons. Any upfront payment towards the phone will be refunded, once the return is complete.

You'll have 14 calendar days to return the order, starting from the date you let us know you want to return. We recommend that you send it by recorded delivery, and you will need to cover the postage cost yourself.

Important: If you do not return the product within 14 calendar days after notifying us of your intent to return, the Agreement will remain and you will continue to accrue charges incurred under Terms & Conditions.

Purchases made in-store:

If you purchased your item from a Currys store and have changed your mind, you have 14 days to return your order from the date of purchase. To do so, visit any Currys store in person, as postal returns to stores are not accepted. When you visit the store, please bring the following items:

  • Proof of purchase, such as your order receipt or invoice
  • The item in its original condition, with the original packaging
  • All accessories and any additional components that came with the product
  • Any free gifts that were included with your purchase

Please note: you'll also be responsible for any charges that apply up to the point your service is disconnected. This includes things like line rental, usage, and any extras you've added to your plan, such as add-ons. Any upfront payment towards the phone will be refunded, once the return is complete.

If you bought a SIM, you don't need to physically return it. If you bought a Pay as You Go SIM, you can simply discard it. To return your SIM contract, simply:

  • Visit your local Currys store with the receipt to cancel the agreement; or
  • Contact our Customer Service team so we can process the return and cancel your agreement. Once your return is confirmed, you will need to safely dispose of the SIM card or delete the eSIM from your phone.

Purchases made via Carphone Warehouse, mobiles.co.uk or e2saves:

If you purchased your item from carphonewarehouse.com, mobiles.co.uk and you can return your item within 14 days from the day your product is delivered. You'll have to pay for any line rental, usage, and additional purchases, such as Domestic Add-ons and Rest of World Add-ons, used up to the point of disconnection. If you bought a phone from us, you'd need to return it within the cooling-off period, together with all packaging, accessories, and included extras.Upgrade returns.If you are planning to return an upgrade, please follow the instructions above, depending on whether you upgraded via a store or bought via distance means. Returning an upgrade does not result in cancellation of your iD Mobile contract. Providing your return meets all conditions above, the new contract term will be reversed, and you will revert to your previous tariff and contract term. To cancel your agreement entirely, please reach out to our Customer Service team or refer to your Terms & Conditions and give 30 days' notice. You will be required to pay until either the end of that notice period, or the end of your original contract term, whichever is the latter.

What can't be returned.

  • We do not accept any returns for the following:
  • Purchases received outside of the returns period
  • Any headphones (hygiene reasons)
  • Items that contain your personal data or are locked
  • Items in damaged condition
  • Items returned without the gift that it came with

Repairs & faulty phones.

If your phone/accessory is faulty when it arrives, you may return it for a replacement or a full refund within 30 days. If the items develops a fault after 30 days, you may send it for repair under the manufacturer's warranty period. If the manufacturer's warranty is no longer valid, your repair may be chargeable. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

General Information.

As an iD Mobile consumer, the terms of this agreement won't affect any legal rights which you may have under any law and which we can't exclude. Please tell us about any changes to your contact details so we can contact you in relation to your order or use of our services. We may update these terms from time to time, so please check the current version before you place your order.

These terms are governed by English law, unless:

  • you live in Scotland, in which case, it will be governed by Scots law; or
  • you live in Northern Ireland, in which case it will be governed by the law of Northern Ireland.
