If you want to keep your existing number when switching over to iD from another network, all you need is a PAC (Port Authorisation Code).
You can give us your PAC when you purchase your plan in-store. If you've already got your iD SIM and mobile number, enter your details here.
Sit tight and we'll move your number to your iD Mobile plan on the next working day.*

View dealsA PAC is a unique code that lets you move your number from one network to another. And from the 1st July 2019, every network will be required to give you a PAC immediately if you ask for one.
There are a number of ways to ask for a PAC from your old network. The easiest way is to text PAC to 65075. Your PAC will then be sent to you by text. You'll need to contact your previous network if you have any issues.
As soon as your number has been transferred to iD, we'll send you a text to confirm. Your old account should immediately disconnect once your number has transferred over. If it doesn't, you'll need to contact your old network.
We won't charge you to move your number over to iD, but you'll need to check with your old network about any cancellation fees or outstanding balances.
If you're visiting a Currys store:
They'll take care of everything for you. Just give them your PAC and we'll move your number over on the next working day.
If you're buying online or over the phone:
You'll need to wait till you receive your iD SIM card before you can give us your PAC. As soon as you receive your iD SIM, along with your temporary iD number (printed on your invoice) you can submit your PAC and details here.
If you've already got your iD SIM:
Submit your PAC here and we'll take care of everything.
If you give us your PAC before 5.30pm (Mon-Fri), the switch will happen between 8am and 10pm on the next working day. If we get your PAC after 5.30pm or over a weekend or bank holiday, you'll switch to iD on the following working day.
For example; if you give us your PAC after 5.30pm on Thursday, you'll switch on Monday because that's the following working day after Thursday. But if you give us your PAC before 5.30pm on Thursday, you'll switch on Friday.
If we get your PAC after 5pm on a Friday or over a weekend / bank holiday, you'll switch on the following Tuesday.
If you've given us your PAC but the switch didn't happen on the correct day, don't worry we're on it. Our systems will spot the delay and while we're fixing the issue, we'll automatically credit your account with the equivalent of 7-days line rental.
In the unlikely event that the switch still hasn't happened after 7 days, contact us and we'll get it sorted.
If the switch didn't happen on the day we said it would, we'll automatically credit your account with 7 days line rental. This will be applied to your account after a further 7 days and we'll send you a text to let you know it's been done.
Please note: If there's a Direct Debit payment due to be made within three days of the credit being added, we'll still take the Direct Debit payment and the credit will be applied to your next bill.
If you want to switch to iD from another network and you don't need to keep your existing number, all you'll need is a STAC (Switch Termination Authorisation Code).
Sit back and relax, your new number will be activated and your old number will disconnect on the next working day.*
