What does Excellent, Very Good & Good condition mean?
Excellent - Otherwise known as 'Grade A’, phones graded as 'Excellent' are in like-new condition. Typically, these are phones that have been returned by customers within their cooling off period, so have had minimal, if any, use.
Very Good - Otherwise known as 'Grade B', phones graded as 'Very Good' are in great condition. Typically, these are phones with minor cosmetic imperfections and very light signs of use.
Good - Otherwise known as 'Grade C', phones graded as 'Good' are in fair condition. Typically, these are phones with some cosmetic imperfections and signs of use.
What is the difference between a refurbished and a brand new phone?
A brand new phone will arrive fresh from the factory in which it was produced. It will not have been used, or touched, by another user. A refurbished phone is a pre-owned device that has previously been returned, then professionally tested, checked and refreshed to ensure they’re in full working order.
What is the difference between a refurbished and a second hand phone?
All refurbished phones from iD Mobile are professionally tested, checked and refreshed to ensure they’re in full working order. All refurbished phones come with a 12-month warranty, so you've got peace of mind. With a second hand or 'used' phone, this is not guaranteed.
What is in the box of a refurbished phone?
Refurbished phones will arrive in a neat, shiny box, not the original manufacturer's packaging. It will not contain the manufacturers manual or user guide, but you will be supplied with a cable and SIM removal tool.
Are refurbished phones covered by a warranty?
Yes. All refurbished phones come with a 12-month warranty, so you've got peace of mind.
Does refurbished mean the phone was faulty?
In some cases, yes. However, we fix any fault a phone may have as part of our full functional testing. Every refurbished phone is professionally tested, checked and refreshed to ensure they’re in full working order and come with a 12-month warranty, so you've got peace of mind.
