Our Refer a Friend scheme is provided by our partner, Aklamio, who are Europe’s largest recommendation platform. They’re always here to help with your referrals, pay out your rewards and support you with any queries related to the Referral Program.

It's easy! Here's a step-by-step guide to our Refer a Friend scheme:

  1. Click ‘Refer now’ above and enter your email. We'll send you a unique referral link to share with your friends & family.
  2. They open your referral link, sign up to our Refer a Friend scheme using their email and purchase a 24-month phone plan or SIM only deal. Please note: For your referral link to track successfully, your friend or family member will need to use the same browser and device they initially used to sign up for our Refer a Friend scheme, without clearing cookies.
  3. Once they’ve made their purchase, we'll send an email to you and your friend or family member to let you know your reward has been set aside and is pending validation.
  4. Sit back and relax! We'll check all the details on our side.
  5. Your reward will be confirmed as soon as it meets the conditions of a successful referral and your friend or family member has fully paid two bills. This can take up to 120 days.
  6. All done! We'll send you both an email to collect your reward.

You can check out an overview of your referrals, their status, and the rewards you’ve earned by signing into your referral account with iD Mobile’s referral partner, Aklamio. Just head here and click ‘sign in’. We’ll also email you as soon as your referral account is credited from a successful referral.

No, Upgrades are excluded from our Refer a Friend scheme.

To qualify for the Refer a Friend cashback, your referred friend must make a purchase on idmobile.co.uk using your referral link. Any purchase made through idmobile.co.uk (without using a referral link), affiliate partners (such as comparison, cashback or voucher sites), Carphone Warehouse, Currys, Mobiles.co.uk or e2save.co.uk do not qualify for our Refer a Friend scheme.

Unfortunately not. They need to use your unique link to register for Refer a Friend before purchasing any 24-month phone plan or SIM only deal.

It's not permitted to purchase an iD Mobile plan using someone else's information. However, if you're buying an iD Mobile plan for your child or someone who is unable to purchase one for themselves, you must enter your own personal details when checking out. This is required due to the standard checks & credit check we run. Keep in mind the plan will remain in your name and cannot be transferred to your friend or family member later on. Please note: To be eligible for your reward, you must use an email address other than the one you used to sign up for our Refer a Friend scheme.

Yes! If you are not an iD Mobile customer (why not?) - you can still use our Refer a Friend scheme.

There is no limit to how many people you can refer to iD Mobile. Once they've successfully purchased any phone plan or SIM only deal, you can both collect your reward and enjoy!

The Legal Bit.

  1. To enter the promotion, the Referred Friend must purchase a new qualifying plan on idmobile.co.uk and any purchases made outside idmobile.co.uk will not be eligible to receive the reward.
  2. The Referrer must register with their required details Sign-up page and agree that their personal details will be shared with Aklamio who provide technology support and administration services for this promotion.
  3. Upon entering their required personal details at Sign-up page, the Referrer will be issued with a unique and personal referral link.
  4. The Referrer must be a UK Resident and aged 18 or over to be able to share their unique and personal link with their Friends and Family. The Referrer must also ensure their Friends and Family are happy to receive their referral link.
  5. The Referrer cannot refer themselves.
  6. To be forwarded and be eligible to accept the Referrer's unique and personal referral code to participate, the Referred Friend must also be a UK resident and aged 18 or over.
  7. The Referred Friend must follow the link and submit their required details to register with Aklamio.
  8. By registering their details, the Referred Friend accepts sharing their personal details with iD Mobile and Aklamio. All personal data shared by participants will be processed in accordance with iD Mobile's Privacy Policy and Aklamio Privacy Policy (administrator).
  9. iD Mobile plans that are purchased by a Referred Friend prior to entering, do not qualify and the Referred Friend must purchase a new plan. After the Referred Friend has purchased a qualifying plan, both the Referrer and the Referred Friend will be able to see status of rewards after 90 days on Aklamio portal.
  10. To be eligible for the 'Refer a Friend' reward, the Referred Friend must sign up for a new qualifying iD Mobile plan. Plans purchased before enrolment in the referral program are not eligible for rewards.
  11. Both the Referrer and the Referred Friend must have accounts in good standing with all payments up to date over a 90-day validation period.
  12. The Refer a Friend reward status can be tracked via the “Aklamio” portal here.
  13. Offer excludes purchases made through Currys, Carphone Warehouse, purchases made through affiliate channels, and Pay as You Go, Data only and Business plans.
  14. From the date of issue, the reward will be valid for 1 year. If not used within 1 year any remaining balance will be invalid and voided.
  15. Rewards are subject to additional terms and conditions, which can be found here.
  16. Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for other goods and services.
  17. Rewards will not be issued on trade or business contracts.
  18. If the qualifying order is cancelled or returned, referrer and referral are no longer eligible to claim the rewards.
  19. The Referrer may claim a maximum of 1 reward for each qualifying referral.
  20. The Referrer and Referred Friend must keep their account payments up to date, accounts with missed payment or in collection are not eligible to receive the reward.
  21. Qualified iD Mobile Pay monthly contracts are subject to a credit check, eligibility, and a minimum term of 1, 12 or 24 months on selected tariffs.
  22. Monthly line rental cost for 24 months handset plans will increase in April each year by the Consumer Price Index rate of inflation (CPI) + 3.9%.

In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion of these terms and conditions or substitute in equivalent or greater value alternative reward at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  25. The promoter makes no representation or warranty in relation to purchases made with the rewards provided and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall have no liability to you in relation to its fitness for purpose, merchantability or otherwise.
  26. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion, which may include emails to remind you about the reward, and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.
