It's easy! Here's a step-by-step guide to our Refer a Friend scheme:

  1. Enter your name and email above and we'll send you a unique referral link to share with your friends & family.
  2. They open your referral link, sign up to our Refer a Friend scheme using their name & email and buy a 24-month phone plan or SIM Only deal.
  3. Please note: For your referral link to track successfully, your friend or family member will need to use the same browser and device they initially used to sign up for our Refer a Friend scheme, without clearing cookies.

  4. We'll send an email to your friend or family member to submit their account number. You will receive an email confirmation once this is done.
  5. Please note: Your referred friend must submit their iD Mobile account number within 14 days of their purchase for both you and your friend to be eligible for the Refer a Friend scheme. This can be found in their welcome email.

  6. Sit back and relax! We'll check all the details on our side.
  7. Once they've made two full bill payments, their status will be confirmed as successful. (This can take around 60-90 days from the moment your friend submits their account number).
  8. All done! We'll send you both an email to claim your reward.

No. You must be an existing iD Mobile customer to to use our Refer a Friend scheme.

You can refer up to 100 people to join iD Mobile. Once they've successfully purchased any phone plan or SIM only deal, you can both claim your reward and enjoy!

Unfortunately not. They need to use your unique link to register for Refer a Friend before purchasing any 24-month phone plan or SIM Only deal.

To qualify for the Refer a Friend offer, the purchase must be made via via your referral link. Any purchase made through (without using a referral link), affiliate partners (such as comparison, cashback or voucher sites), Carphone Warehouse, Currys, or do not qualify for our Refer a Friend scheme.

It's not permitted to purchase an iD Mobile plan using someone else's information. However, if you're buying an iD Mobile plan for your child or someone who is unable to purchase one for themselves, you must enter your own personal details when checking out. This is required due to the standard checks & credit check we run. Keep in mind the plan will remain in your name and cannot be transferred to your friend or family member later on. You can purchase up to 5 plans per household using our Refer a Friend scheme.

Please note: To be eligible for your reward, you must use an email address other than the one you used to sign up for our Refer a Friend scheme.

We'll send an email to your friend or family member to submit their account number. This must be done within 14 days of their purchase. Once that's done, and they've fully paid two bills, you'll both receive your chosen reward. This can take around 60-90 days from the moment they submit their account number.

The Legal Bit.

1. The iD Mobile Refer a Friend Promotion is being promoted by iD Mobile Limited, Dixons Carphone PLC, 1 Portal Way, Acton, London, W3 6RS.

2. To enter the promotion, the Referrer must be an existing iD Mobile customer.

5. Upon entering their required personal details at Sign-up page, the Referrer will be issued with a unique and personal referral link.

6. The Referrer must be a UK Resident and aged 18 or over to be able to share their unique and personal link with their Friends and Family. The Referrer must also ensure their Friends and Family are happy to receive their referral link.

7. The Referrer cannot refer themselves.

8. To be forwarded and be eligible to accept the Referrer's unique and personal referral code to participate, the Referred Friend must also be a UK resident and aged 18 or over.

9. The Referred Friend must follow the link and submit their required details to register. Once registered, the Referred Friend must submit their iD Mobile account number on the Self reporting page within 14 days of purchasing a qualifying ID plan.

10. By registering their details, the Referred Friend accepts sharing their personal details with iD Mobile and Buyapowa. All personal data shared by participants will be processed in accordance with iD Mobile's Privacy Policy and Buyapowa's Privacy Policy.

11. iD Mobile plans that are purchased by a Referred Friend prior to entering do not qualify and the Referred Friend must purchase a new plan. After the Friend has purchased a qualifying plan, both the Referrer and the Referred Friend will receive the eligible gift voucher by email within 90 days of the Referred Friend submitting their account number on Buyapowa portal.

12. The gift voucher value for both the Referrer and the Referred Friend will be the same and is determined by the contract length of the qualifying plan that the Referred Friend purchased. Please visit for more details on reward value by qualifying contract length.

13. Offer excludes purchases made through Currys, Carphone Warehouse and Pay as You Go, Data only and Business plans.

14. From the date of issue, the gift voucher will be valid for 2 years and can be used as full or part payment in any Currys store or online at if not used within 2 years any remaining balance will be voided, and the gift card will be invalid.

16. Currys gift voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.

17. Currys gift voucher will not be issued on trade or business contracts.

18. iD Mobile or Currys accept no responsibility for a lost or misplaced gift voucher.

19. If the qualifying order is cancelled or returned, you are no longer eligible to claim the gift voucher.

20. The Referrer may claim a maximum of 1 gift voucher for each qualifying referral up to a 100 times. The Referrer can only share their referral link and claim a reward with up to 5 Friends or Family from the same household.

21. The Referrer and Referred Friend must keep their account payments up to date, accounts with missed payment or in collection are not eligible to receive a reward and do not qualify to enter into this promotion.

22. Qualified iD Mobile Pay monthly contracts are subject to a credit check, eligibility and a minimum term of 1, 12 or 24 months on selected tariffs.

25. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion of these terms and conditions or substitute in equivalent or greater value alternative gift at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

26. The promoter makes no representation or warranty in relation to purchases made with the gift card provided and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall have no liability to you in relation to its fitness for purpose, merchantability or otherwise.
