Not eligible to upgrade? No problem, set a reminder in your iD Mobile account under the ‘Plan’ section.
Make sure you're logged in to your iD Mobile account before upgrading. If you don't, you'll end up with two contracts, and you won't be able to move your existing number across.

1 Inclusive roaming is included as standard on all iD Mobile plans, allowing customers to use their inclusive UK minutes, texts, and data in 50 inclusive Roaming destinations. A 30GB data limit applies in line with the Fair Usage Policy, for further information, please see here.
2 Unused monthly data rolls over once into the next month and is used first. Rollover data expires after one month. Available on all iD Mobile pay‑monthly plans.
An upgrade lets you get a new phone without paying the full cost upfront. You'll start a new contract and keep your number. If you're happy with your current phone, you can switch to a SIM Only plan when your contract ends.
Yes, we'll email you when you're eligible. You can also set a calendar reminder in the iD Mobile app by logging in, scrolling to the upgrade box or going to the Plan section. If you're not eligible yet, you'll see an option to add it to your calendar.
Yes, if you've been on a SIM Only plan for at least 6 months. Your options depend on your credit check, payment history, and how long you've been with us. If you're eligible, you'll see available upgrades in the app or at my.idmobile.co.uk. If you've switched to a 30-day SIM Only plan, you'll need to wait 30 days before upgrading again. Tip: Set a calendar reminder so you don't miss your upgrade date.
If you cancel online or by phone within your returns period, we'll move you back to your old plan if it's still available. Your next bill will include a pro-rata refund for any line rental charged since the upgrade. Upgrades done in-store can't be cancelled. If you want to upgrade again, you'll need to wait until your previous upgrade is reversed, which can take up to 24 hours after the handset is returned.
No. Your new plan starts when your upgrade is dispatched and replaces your old contract. You won't need to serve the remaining days on your previous plan.
