The Huawei P40 series doesn't run on Google Mobile Services (GMS), and instead runs on the newly launched Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). No, the Huawei P40 series won’t have any pre-installed Google apps or services. Instead, it will come with Huawei’s alternative, which is the Huawei Mobile Services or HMS for short. This is Huawei’s very own mobile ecosystem which runs on the Android operating system. It gives users access to a range of apps and services developed by Huawei, as well as those readily available on the Android operating system.
